This recall pertains to all Cinmar Frontgate Resort Collection Newport Aluminum and Teak Chaises. The affected models include Aluminum Chaises (SKU 67333) and Teak Chaises (SKU 166218). These chaises, sold in sets of two, are available in a variety of colors and finishes: architectural bronze, champagne silver, cobalt, matte black, and matte white for the aluminum version, and weathered and natural finishes for the teak version.The chaises are designed as reclining outdoor lounge chairs and feature a powder-coated aluminum or teak frame. They measure approximately 51 inches in length and 31 inches in width. The design includes a mesh seat and an adjustable backrest with four reclining positions, from upright to fully reclined. The brand name "FRONTGATE" is displayed on a silver badge located at the back of each chair.Although specific safety concerns have prompted this recall, the company is committed to resolving any issues promptly to ensure customer well-being. Cinmar has received three reports of incidents involving consumers' fingers becoming entrapped between the adjustable backrest and the chair frame, resulting in two partial finger amputation injuries, and one finger-crushing injury requiring surgery.
